A skunk found Monday in College Station has tested positive for rabies. The animal was trapped at Stonewall Court in the Raintree Subdivision.
Authorities urge all Brazos County residents to watch for signs of rabies which include nocturnal animals out during daylight hours. Animals exhibiting paralysis or difficulty moving. A change in eating habits or pawing at the mouth. And difficulty swallowing or chewing at a wound.
If you see any animal exhibiting these symptoms, call law enforcement immediately.
