North American Summit in Waco

By: Associated Press

President Bush and the leaders of Canada and Mexico have announced new agreements on security and the economy. But they say more needs to be done.

Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister
Paul Martin are meeting in Waco at Baylor University. Then, they'll
lunch at Bush's ranch in nearby Crawford.

The three men unveiled an agreement aimed at broadening North
American cooperation to improve security and prosperity.

On the economic side, the initiative is aimed at increasing productivity and making markets more competitive in the world economy. On the security front, the leaders are expected to vow to continue to work together in fighting terrorism.

Other more contentious issues, such as a U.S. ban on Canadian
beef and drug trafficking in Mexico, are expected to be brought up
only informally during their time together.
