There was a deadly accident in Madison County early Easter morning on Interstate 45 involving a SUV, an 18 wheeler and another car that fled the scene.
It all started when the Mazda SUV hydroplaned and spun out of control, ejecting two of it's passengers.
A woman thrown to the pavement was run-over by another southbound car and it left the scene of the accident.
An approaching 18 wheeler jack-knifed to avoid the collision.
The dead woman has been identified as 52-year-old Engoku Akwar of Houston.
The driver of the SUV and three other passengers, which are all from Houston, were taken to the Madisonville hospital for treatment.
