Authorities are investigating the emergency landing of a small private plane at OSR and 2223 in Robertson County Wednesday evening.
A small plane made an emergency landing just before 6 p.m. on an oil well road in a field after running out of fuel.
According to DPS, the pilot was on his way to Lufkin and ran into visibility problems.
Only the pilot on board the plane.
There's only minor damage to the plane and the pilot does not appear to be hurt.
The plane is registered to M & D Aviation, Incorporated, a company based in The Woodlands.
