About this time every year, the small town of Snook is inundated with Chili and country music.
Chilifest 2005 begins Friday with a chili cook-off and the main event is on Saturday.
Headlining the event is Tracy Lawerence along with Pat Green, Neal McCoy and other county music artists.
Tickets at the gate cost $35 and beer must be purchased at Chilifest.
Last year, the event raised 160 thousand dollars for local charities.
If you're planning to go a free park and ride will run from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday at the Tejas Center in Bryan, near Gold's Gym.
And after 10 pm CARPOOL will give anyone a ride home if they call.
