Texas A&M has spent millions on increasing faculty's pay but there's another group of workers that also want a raise.
A group of employees on the lower end of the pay scale are asking President Robert Gates to increase their pay.
Gates has decided to set up a task force to look into the possibility but says it would be a financial stretch for the university.
The task force is asked to have a recommendation before the next fiscal year begins.
