Two suspects considered armed and dangerous are on the run tonight somewhere near Grimes County. Investigators say the duo is connected with a kidnapping of a College Station woman last week.
Last Wednesday, investigators say a 31-year-old woman was hit in the back of the head, tied up, and gagged by three people she reportedly knew.
The women was allegedly held at a home in Navasota against her will where she was beaten by the trio.
She was then taken to a residence in Washington County, where she able to escape.
Monday, investigators stopped by the Navasota home where the attack happened and found 34 year-old Kenneth Busse inside.
Busse was arrested for aggravated kidnapping and is being held at the Grimes County jail.
Washington and Grimes County authorities searched by air and foot for the remaining two suspects. They are, Rodney Lucy, 37, and Christi McDaniel, 32, from South Texas, who were thought to be hiding out in the Chappell Hill area.
Authorities say Lucy has a long record of violent behavior.
"He is considered armed and dangerous. We have received information through the investigation that he is known to carry weapons, rifles," Lt. Blake Jarvis with the Grimes County Sheriff's Office said. "He has evaded police in Victoria and is known to be a danger to police officers."
Authorities believe the pair may still be in the area and were last seen driving a black 1984 to 1987 Chevrolet Blazer.
If you have any information on their whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Grimes County Sheriff's Department at 936-873-2151.
