A second jury will take its turn in hearing the case against suspected murderer David White.
After two days of jury selection, a six-man, six-woman jury are now set to hear opening arguments.
White is accused of killing Lonnie Turner Senior, a prominent Navasota civic leader in November 2002.
During the first murder trial, White said he was forced to shot Turner by the victim's own son, Lonnie Turner Junior.
Prosecutors say White acted alone in the murder.
District Attorney Tuck McLain upgraded White's murder charge to capital murder after the first trial ended with a deadlocked jury.
