Red-light runners, beware. The College Station Police Department will soon be watching with electronic eyes.
Starting Monday, Red-light Cameras at four intersections will begin photographing violators:
Texas Avenue at Walton Drive
Harvey Road at Munson Avenue
Harvey Road at George Bush Drive East
Wellborn Road at George Bush Drive
The first two weeks the cameras are up and running are just a warning period.
After that, owners of vehicles caught running red lights or failing to stop properly before an intersection, will be mailed $75 tickets.
Along with the ticket, owners will receive photos of the offense and a link to website where they can see a video clip of the violation.
