A 19-year-old Euless man who police say drove off with five new cars has been arrested on theft charges.
Ian Simpkinson is alleged to have stolen the vehicles from Bossier Dodge in Bryan. The four Dodge Rams and one Chrysler car were valued at over $200,000.
Simpkinson is a former employee at Bossier, and authorities think he may have committed the crime following his firing. Police say he was caught in the parking lot of Gold's Gym and confessed to the theft and burglary of the vehicles.
