If you're expecting vehicle registration stickers in the mail soon, don't be surprised when the word "VOID" shows up.
The local tax assessor-collector and the Department of Public Safety have been flooded with calls about a small sticker that comes with the large registration tag.
For most people, the sticker says "VOID," but there is no explanation included in the packet. But according to the tax office, the sticker is for motorcycles, trailers and other special vehicles.
If you don't have one of those, you'll get the void sticker, and you can just throw it away.
