After a 10 minute delay the College Station Plaza Hotel was imploded and came tumbling down.
Thousands of people lined the streets, parking lots and polo fields at Texas A&M to watch the old hotel reduced to rubble.
The 17 story building is now a 40 foot high pile of debris. A series of loud explosions rocked the shell of the Plaza and buildings all around it.
In 7 seconds the Plaza was gone, forever changing the skyline of College Station.
