Jurors will begin their second day of deliberations to reach a verdict in the James David White capital murder case.
The Walker County jury deliberated for six hours Monday but decided to call it a night and reconvene Tuesday morning.
James David White is accused of shooting Navasota business man Lonnie Turner Senior.
During Monday's closing arguments, the state told jurors White is a thief and a liar.
And the night of November 1st, 2002 White went to Turner's house to rob him.
Prosecutors say something went wrong during the break-in and White shot Turner twice -- once through the head and once through the heart.
Prosecutors also believe White's two best friends were involved.
But the defense argues it was Turner's son, Lonnie Junior that pointed a gun to their client's head and made him pull the trigger.
Defense attorneys say their client was under duress and therefore must be acquitted.
A verdict is expected Tuesday.
