A recent break in at the Brazos Food Bank has the agency's board looking into security measures.

The break in happened at the end last week. Five computers were stolen and all office doors were broken, losses totaling close to $6,500.

The food bank board is meeting Monday night to discuss security issues, and a local company has offered to donate a security system, but administrators say their focus is on recovery.

"Information about ourselves, information about our agency, our accounts, that kind of thing is out there now, so that makes us a bit nervous. But I spent all day Friday taking care of bank account information and insurance claims, so we're doing everything we can to be very responsible," said Theresa Mangapora, Brazos Food Bank Executive Director.

The Bryan Police Department has suspended its investigation citing lack of evidence, but will re-open the case if any leads develop.
