A Conroe teenager was killed on Interstate 45 near Centerville Saturday afternoon after she was ejected from her mother's SUV.
Investigators say a tire on the Isuzu Rodeo blew out and the vehicle rolled over numerous times. Shawna Voitle, 15, died at the scene. Her 36-year-old mother was air-lifted to a Waco hospital with numerous injuries.
And in Burleson County, a Ford Mustang crossed into the other lane of traffic on Highway 36 around 6:15am, hitting an 18 wheeler head-on.
The driver of the Mustang and a 13-year-old passenger were killed instantly. A 39 year old passenger was in serious condition and taken to St. Joseph in Bryan. All three were from Edna, Texas near Victoria.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
