Brazos County has okayed a transportation study that may help alleviate traffic problems, but now it's up to both Bryan and College Station city councils to jump on board.
Tuesday, commissioners approved over $8,000 in funding for a regional transportation feasibility study.
The Texas Transportation Institute will offer $25,000 for the project and Both Bryan/College Station and the county are being asked to provide the remaining $25,000.
With the councils approval, TTI will develop a plan to help alleviate current traffic problems and make future projections to help manage traffic as the area grows.
