Investigators say slick roads might be what's to blame for a fatal car accident this morning just north of Bryan.
DPS officials say 67-year-old Dorothy McClain was driving a 2001 Saturn with her 62-year-old sister and 5-year-old nephew inside. She was headed south on Highway 6 near Harvey Mitchell Parkway around 11 a.m. when investigators say she lost control, and the car flipped over several times.
McClain was ejected from the car. She was taken to St. Joseph's Health Center where she later died from the severity of her injuries. Her sister and nephew are stable at the same hospital.
Investigators say no one in the car, including the 5-year-old, was wearing a seat belt.
DPS says road conditions were wet at the time, but they are still looking into the cause of the crash.
