Ruptured Gas Line Causes Concern at Texas A&M Campus

By  |

Some tense moments on the Texas A&M campus Friday morning after a ruptured gas line prompted an evacuation and Code Maroon warning.

Students in the Psychology Building and Nagle Hall were ordered outside shortly after 9 a.m. while others were prevented from entering the area.

A Code Maroon message went out warning subscribers of the danger. A second message told subscribers that it was safe to resume normal activities.

The two buildings re-opened about an hour and a half later.
