Man Accused of State Bank Robbery Stands Trial

Testimony began Tuesday in the trial of an Arlington man accused of robbing a College Station bank.

Chuck Oliver faces aggravated robbery charges.

According to court documents, Oliver, 40, along with three other men tied up two female employees at gun point and robbed the State Bank on Wellborn in 2006.

Opening statements were Tuesday morning, with the state presenting its case.

The trial is expected to continue Wednesday.
