It's a missing persons case that could turn into a criminal investigation.
After almost a week of looking for 82-year-old Ray Foster, the search is over.
Police found his body just after noon today not to far from where the car was found yesterday.
A pilot at the Hearne airport spotted the car hidden under brush just a few feet away from the Little Brazos River. Foster's wallet was found, missing credit cards and cash.
There are no suspects at this point, but police said they do suspect foul play. And while Foster's family can now have closure as to his whereabouts, they won't be at peace until the person or persons involved are found.
"Someone out there in the community knows what happened, knows who has been involved in this and we're asking that you come forward," says Foster's son-in-law, Wendell Hughley.
An autopsy has been ordered and results are expected in a week.
