String of Burglaries Ends with Arrest

Print

College Station Police say a man who was arrested Saturday morning for breaking into a convenience store with an axe is linked to five different burglaries, including three Friday night.

Police got their break from the surveillance video from a store on Graham road. The store's window had been busted out, and they say the video tape showed the suspect and his car in the background. Police say they are familiar with the man and his car.

A short time later, 20-year-old Conor Paul Dugan was pulled over and taken to jail. Investigators say an axe was found in the car.

About 4:30 Saturday morning, another store was discovered burglarized, and police say Dugan was on that surveillance video as well.
