A primary race in Washington County will go to a recount.

Only 93 votes separate current Sheriff J.W. Jankowski, and his opponent James Parker. On Thursday, Parker filed a petition for the recount with his county party chairman.

The party plans to canvas all of the races on March 13th. If Parker receives 47 more votes than were initially given to him, he will be declared the winner.
