By: Jennifer Cavazos
Video will be available shortly

Decision One will be closing their doors July 31. They've decided to consolidate their business with its call center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. One hundred eighty six employees will lose their jobs as a result of the move.

Decision One was the very first success story of the joint Bryan/College Station economic development corporation in the early to mid 90s and now almost a decade later, they are shutting their doors.

"We are not taking this as a failure for ourselves, its a problem with Decision One. They are cutting back in all there areas of the telemarketing," says Celia Goode-Haddock, Research Valley Partnership Board Chair.

Decision One released this statement says: "One of the largest clients we service out of Bryan recently experienced financial hardships, which caused them to drastically reduce their call volumes effective immediately."

We've been told the employees will be paid through the July 31, but no confirmation on how many will stay on to help with training.
