An Edible Tour

Groupies, listen up. A 66-city tour is ending in College Station this weekend, and parts of this tour are edible.

Blue Bell ice cream and its chocolate-colored 18 wheeler have set up shop at Post Oak Mall in College Station. Kids can watch a multimedia presentation about how ice cream is made. A mini Blue Bell museum and gigantic homemade vanilla bounce house are part of the display. So is Blue Bells newest flavor, the Blue Bell 4-H Centenial Cupcake.

"4H in Texas is 100 years old and we were 100 years last year, so we felt like it would be a great tie in, great ice cream with a great organization," said Melvin Ziegenbein Jr of Blue Bell.

Everyone who stops by is treated to a free cup of ice cream, and kids are given Blue Bell hats. The exhibit is open Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. Blue Bell's newest flavor, "moo tracks" will debut in a few weeks. The new flavor is made up of vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate covered peanut butter cup and chocolate fudge swirl.
