A third bird in the Twin Cities has been found to have West Nile.
A blue jay tested positive on Adrienne Drive in College Station, just north of Rock Prairie Road and west of Highway 6. The bird was examined yesterday, and city personnel have begun control measures in the area. Health Department officials also distributed information to residents there.
They encourage all residents in the county to eliminate any standing water after the frequent showers recently.
