Navasota Police are investigating a possible arson at a well-known barbeque joint.
Ruthie's Café on West Washington caught fire in the early morning hours of July 4th.
About 50 percent of the restaurant was destroyed, with most of the damage in the kitchen.
Police believe the fire was intentionally set because a coke machine inside the barbeque joint was broken into.
The local landmark has drawn statewide acclaim for its barbeque.
