Bryan's city council is mulling over a proposed plan to close the local links for a while.
Project Manager John Blackburn discussed the irrigation, drainage and grass issues at the Bryan Municipal Golf Course. The plan calls for the course to close from December to October for major renovations to correct the problems.
The council asked if the closure would affect business in the future, but Blackburn said the changes would hopefully attract even more business.
The council will discuss the matter further in a future council meeting.
