The district approved a plan that includes a 2-thousand dollar annual pay increase for first year instructors.
Second year teachers will get a 15-hundred dollar raise while third and fourth-year teachers will get a thousand dollars more.
Those with 5 or more years under their belts will get an 8-hundred dollar increase.
One school board member voted against the plan, saying more money should go to veteran teachers.
