The disappearance and death of an elderly Hearne man appear to be headed to the cold case file.
Hearne police say they've exhausted all leads in the search for Ray Foster during the past 3 weeks. The latest leads were two individuals described as "persons of interest." But they were dismissed after voluntarily taking polygraph tests.
After missing for a week, Foster was found dead near his car just south of the Hearne airport. An autopsy determined he died of natural causes, but police suspected foul play since his wallet was missing credit cards and cash.
Anyone with information surrounding the disappearance and death of Foster is asked to contact Hearne Police at 279-5333.
