Some good news tonight for a local children's shelter.

Last week, we told you that burglars broke in and completely stripped the copper out of the air conditioning units at the Genesis House, a soon to be opened children's shelter.

Well this week, a hefty donation was given to the organization.

After seeing our report, members of Shelter the Homeless International Projects replaced the A/C unit.

The agency was co-founded by Bryan City Council member Ann Horton.

This organization saved Genesis House somewhere around 5,000 dollars.

maybe the shelter need to build something around the units with a lock so this does not happen again.
