We have more information in the case of a Leon High School principal accused of grabbing a student, and leaving a mark.

News 3 has received a copy of an eyewittness's written statement about the incident.

In the statement, the High School Secretary writes that she saw Principal David Jones "grab the student by his left shoulder and try to hold him."

She goes on to say the student tried to jerk his shoulder away, but Mr. Jones told him not to. Later in the statement, she writes "at no time during the episode did the student raise his voice or speak rudely or disrespectfully . Mr Jones simply lost control."

The Leon ISD Superintendent received the same statement. It was one of four he received from witnesses about the February incident.

Principal David Jones is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the county attorney's investigation.

"at no time during the episode did the student raise his voice or speak rudely or disrespectfully" yeah, sure. Do you really think that a poor, innocent little 17 yr old boy wouldn't even at least raise his voice to a man that "simply lost control." while grabbing him? Thats is bull. You people are like buzzards that waited for a problem like this to come over Jones so you can all pick at him. If Jones doesn't come back, you have officially taught your kids that you don't have to listen to authority and nobody can punish you. Wrong lesson to teach. Sooner or later when your kids grow up they're going to have jobs where they'll have a higher authority over them and if that person tells them to scrape gum off of his/her shoe they better do it.Other wise if they don't they find their selves with a bad reference that contains the words: Doesn't follow instructions, who would want to hire a hot head? . You give respect to the people that require respect. Jones needs to come back!

That took a lot of courage! She should be commended for standing up and speaking out. The fact that she would do such a thing leads one to believe that he has bullied her in the past as well. Once a hot head always a hot head.
