Four children were trapped inside a Texas A&M elevator on Sunday afternoon for almost two hours.

The kids, believed to be between the ages of 5 and 10, were using an elevator at Rudder Tower when it malfunctioned.

The A&M police department says the kids were trapped between the third and fourth floors.

Despite several attempts, neither the police or the custodial staff were able to get the kids out.

The children were freed after an elevator technician came to their rescue.
