An arrest warrant for capital murder has been issued for the baby-sitter of a Brenham toddler who died. Police believe Berny Figueroa is responsible for the March 11 death of Alexia Lopez, 2.

Figueroa was with the girl before the parents arrived home to find their daughter barely breathing. Alexia was rushed to the hospital where she died an hour later.

Figueroa has since disappeared and is considered a fugitive. She is a 5'-5", 130-pound hispanic female. If you know of her whereabouts, you're asked to call Brenham police.
