Cancer treatment in Veterinary medicine has received a boost at Texas A&M.

Thursday, regents approved a veterinary imaging and cancer treatment center.
The center will be able to treat cancerous tumors in both large and small animals, as well as enhance the education of vet students.
The projected cost is 4.5 million dollars and it will be located near the Small Animal Hospital.
