Approximately 350 Hurricane Katrina evacuees will be temporarily housed at Reed Arena at Texas A&M, Brazos County Emergency Management officials announced Friday afternoon.
University officials said they have no details regarding when the evacuees will arrive.
Reed Arena will only be used once Aldersgate United Methodist Church in College Station reaches half its capacity.
It can hold up to 200 residents.
