Bryan police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred late Saturday night.
Police believe that the incident involved Joe Marin III, the son of Bryan Councilman, Joe Marin.
It all came to light when a car crashed into a yard on 25th street in Bryan, hitting a parked car and then a tree.
A neighborhood witness tried to run the suspect down, but the culprit managed to get away.

Councilman Marin says that his son will be turning himself over to the proper authorities.
He also tells us the car that his son was driving belonged to a family member.
Marin III faces numerous charges.
