Bryan police say they're closer to identifying the driver who fled the scene after a hit and run accident on Saturday.

Fingerprints are being processed from the Chrysler Concord which crashed into the front yard of a man's home.

The car is registered to Joe Marin III, son of Bryan council member Joe Marin, but police say they have no proof that Marin III was actually the driver.

A witness is expected to look through a photo line-up Wednesday.

On Sunday, Councilman Marin told News 3 his son would turn himself in, but he has yet to do so.
