A financial assistant in the purchasing department at Texas A&M is out on a $25,000 bond.

Amy Buchanan was arrested Monday on two counts of theft.

University Police investigators say Buchanan used "bonus points" accumulated by the university from Hewlett Packard to purchase personal items including printers, digital cameras, palm pilots, and a scanner.

Buchanan was arrested Monday.

She's charged with two counts of theft -- one by a public servant which is a felony offense.

A&M Purchasing Department representatives say Buchanan's was fired with cause earlier this week.
