A councilman's son turns himself into Bryan Police, but not for a hit and run accident he suspected of.
Joe Marin III turned himself into authorities late last night on an outstanding warrant. Marin was charged with failure to identify himself to an officer and also had three outstanding municipal warrants.
But Police have still not arrested Marin for a hit and run accident he's suspected of being involved in. The incident happened last weekend. A car registered to Bryan city council member Joe Marin was wrecked near the scene but the driver fled. A witness chased the man, and so did police but the suspect escaped. The accident damaged another car and a tree outside a home on 25th street in Bryan.
Police say they are still investigating the incident.
