The man accused in an 11 hour stand off with police remains in the Brazos County Jail.
25-year-old Tyrenzo Henry is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
He was taken to Austin to undergo a mental evaluation.
Henry held police at bay all day Monday as he threatened to harm himself.
Police say Henry had several weapons in his home but he peacefully surrendered.
Henry remains in jail on 15 thousand dollars bond.
