A Texas based homebuilder is planning to expand it's reach in the Brazos Valley.
Austin based Main Street Homes will appear before the College Station city council Thursday night to ask for approval to begin phase one of a development that will eventually see nearly 800 new homes in the city.
Main Street already has a presence in the Brazos Valley with two separate subdivisions in Bryan and College Station with a total of about 140 homes.
This latest development will include a subdivision off Koppe Bridge Road complete with a park and community swimming pool.
Main Street Homes are generally for the first time home buyer and start in the high 80 thousand dollar price range.
