The local branch of the American Red Cross has a new leader.
Sharon Zambrzycki is the new branch manger. She has volunteered and worked with community service organizations all throughout her life. Zambrzycki has lived in Bryan/College Station for a year and a half and says she's already seen what a giving community it is.
"What I'm hoping for is to match the expansion that is happening in the community. We'll be offering more classes, health and safety courses, and disaster courses. We're always looking for volunteers," said Zambrzycki
For more information on courses and volunteering at the Red Cross, you can call the office at 776- 8279.
