A Hearne woman was killed Monday in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 6 in Robertson County.
According to the Department of Public Safety, a Chevrolet Camaro headed south lost control on the slick road and was hit by an 18-wheeler traveling in the northbound lane.
The accident happened just after 8 o'clock on Highway 6 past the Robertson County line.
The driver of the Camaro, Kathleen Victoria Young, 24 was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say Young was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Both north and southbound lanes were closed for an hour as authorities cleared the scene and reconstructed the accident.
