Mailing a letter can now get the presidential seal of approval. That's because a new stamp was unveiled Thursday honoring Presidential Libraries.

The commemorative stamp marks the 50th anniversary of the Presidential Libraries Act of 1955. News 3's own General Manager Mike Wright was the Master of Ceremonies.

Ceremonies where held simultaneously at the 12 other Presidential Libraries around the country.

"I think it honors a wonderful legacy of our presidents and the great job these libraries do in preserving their papers and their materials and teaching the American public about their lives, so it's a wonderful thing to honor," said Carolyn Lewis Gallagher, U.S. Postal Service Governor.

The stamps will be in circulation for about a year.
