As First American Bank branches are switching to CitiBank, there are warnings of individuals phishing for bankers' information.
The Better Business Bureau says First American customers are being called and threatened with suspension if they don't switch their accounts to CitiBank. People are being asked to give sensitive banking information to the callers.
CitiBank is migrating accounts this weekend, and BBB believes the phishing is in conjunction with that.
If you receive a call like this, you're asked to hang up or ask the caller for their name and contact information.
