Kidnapping Ends With a Knock at the Door

Bryan Police know the suspect in an aggravated kidnapping case last night. They just need to find him.

The incident happened just after 9:30 PM. Jessie Dejesus, 24, went to visit the suspect at an apartment at the Academic Village on Old College Road.

According to police, Dejesus was then held in the backroom of the apartment and threatened with a weapon. When the suspect left the apartment for a moment, Dejesus was able to call 911. Police arrived and knocked on the door, and when the suspect answered, he fled through a back window.

Officers could not catch the individual, but the weapon was recovered. They are not releasing the name of the person they are seeking, but do know who he/she is, and are in the process of trying to locate them.
