Former Democratic Chairman Dies

A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday for a well-known community leader.

Calvin Guest's accomplishments are too many to list. But highlights include 10 years with the Bryan school board, CEO-Chairman of United Bank of College Station, and Chairman of the Democratic Party of Texas from 1972 to 1978.

Tuesday's memorial service for Guest begins at 2 PM at First Baptist Church of Bryan.
