A jailhouse confession could close the books on close to a hundred local burglaries.
Police say 22-year-old Clyne Thomas Sanders has not only admitted to the crimes, but took investigators on a tour of the 85 locations in Bryan and 12 in College Station that he claims to have burglarized.
That prompted a multi-agency sting operation yesterday targeting fenced property. The raid yielded four arrests and the recovery of a number of stolen items.
Sanders is being held without bond on a parole violation.
