Police have reached a dead end in the case of a newborn found dead in a dumpster in Huntsville.
The baby was found in a dumpster behind a dorm on Sam Houston's campus. The investigation has been going on for six months and the only lead has now dissolved.
Items from one of the dorm rooms were collected as evidence, but detectives say it could not link anyone living in the dorm to the baby's death.
The investigation continues and authorities are hoping anyone with information will come forward.
