Two people are dead in separate accidents around the Brazos Valley.
The first happened about 7:30 p.m. Friday Texas 30, about four miles east of College Station.
The Department of Public Safety says Lisa Marie Carey, 23, of Huntsville was killed when she swerved to miss a cow in the highway.
Carey's pickup ran off the road and hit a tree.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second accident happened about 8:30 p.m. on Texas 6 in Robertson County.
It was a three car wreck about three miles north of Hearne that killed one person and injured five others.
Authorities say the driver of a Ford pickup swerved to miss a deer and hit an oncoming pickup.
That driver, Thomas Ray Ballew, 22, of Bryan, was taken to St. Joseph Health Center where he died.
A third driver swerved to avoid the accident and hit a tree.
Of the five people injured, two were treated and released.
Three others were in stable condition.
